StreamHub Forums: Mission Statement
We have three (3) main Missions at StreamHub:
1) Provide free access to information and guidance for Streaming Hobbyists to pursue their interest.
2) Be a friendly place where anyone can share information, find safe reliable streams, and engage in lively discussions for events they are interested in sharing or viewing.
3) Inform, advocate, and promote free access to information available on the internet.
(More specifically- To be a leader in the discussion, by advocating Free-to-Air Programming over the net.)
StreamHub Forum is an Advert free, Anti-spam, Information website. We are a group of like-minded individuals (many of whom have migrated from the old Wiziwig Forum*) gathering here to help you stream the event or files you want to view or share. The admins and moderators will do everything in their power to provide a level playing field where streamers and viewers alike can depend on:
-- Fair treatment.
-- Safe, secure, stable, and reliable streaming information.
-- Friendly and informed assistance.
Most importantly, we will always adjust and innovate to meet the needs of our viewers/members and to new situations. We're very glad you're here.
Thank you and welcome!
* You might ask why we look and feel so much like the old Wiziwig forum?
Well... to us, Wiziwig wasn't so much a place or a forum, but more of an ideal. An ideal that represents the goal of providing news, information and resources to everyone- hobbyists, streamers and viewers alike; communicating effectively as folk with no interest in making money-- protecting the integrity of the mission to bring about free-to-air programming. We all did our best at Wiziwig to be the "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval" of the streaming world. A worthy ambition to be sure!
We believe we succeeded and we can cheerfully maintain our efforts here at StreamHub Forums. In that way, we are not imitating wiziwig, but continuing the same mission (process); starting with a similar forum format-- because it's the format we know best and need to re-familiarize ourselves with all the previous information. Information we painstakingly gathered. (We don't have back-ups of all that golden data and discussion we worked so long and hard to accumulate.) That's why streamhub is starting off looking a bit like wiziwig.
